This research project integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to combine air quality and health data for the development of a PM2.5 risk prediction model. We are seeking students or research assistants with backgrounds in environmental science, public health, computer science, data science, or related fields. Applicants should possess basic programming skills (e.g., Python or R), as well as foundational knowledge in data analysis or machine learning, and be capable of reading academic literature in English. Candidates with an interest in air pollution, health risk assessment, or smart city applications, along with strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and self-directed learning abilities, are highly encouraged to apply. Experience in sensor data applications, time-series analysis, or prior research involvement will be considered an advantage. The project offers a monthly stipend of NTD 15,000, with a maximum funding duration of up to six months (based on Taiwan local time).
