This project aims to advance the research and development of AIoT-enabled smart manufacturing, large language models, and intelligent cybersecurity technologies through international collaboration. Two Master or Ph.D. students will be recruited to Taiwan to undertake a six-month research placement at the AI Center where the principal investigator is based. During this period, they will work collaboratively with their academic advisors and full-time engineers, with access to relevant data, equipment, and workspace. Research progress will be monitored through weekly team meetings and monthly written reports. Applicants are expected to have a background in Computer Science or a related field. In addition, candidates must possess sufficient English proficiency to effectively communicate in both spoken and written forms throughout the research placement. They should also demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, and be capable of proactively identifying and proposing solutions to technical problems. Please note that applicants who have already obtained a Ph.D. degree, or who are currently studying or undertaking research in Taiwan, are not eligible for this program.
