This project focuses on the controlled synthesis of polynuclear metal complexes, where structure and nuclearity can be tuned by reaction conditions. The research explores their applications in catalysis and functional materials, while integrating concepts from systems chemistry, coordination chemistry, and metallodrug design. We are primarily looking for students with backgrounds in synthetic chemistry, coordination chemistry, or catalysis. Students with experience in computational chemistry (DFT) or biological/cell-based experiments are also welcome. The program is especially suitable for Master’s-level students who are interested in research training or considering future study in Taiwan. Duration: at least 5 months (preferably up to 6 months) Stipend: NTD 15,000 per month Participants will gain hands-on experience in inorganic synthesis, characterization, and interdisciplinary research.
- Field: Natural Science
- School: National Dong Hwa University
- Organizer: Department of Chemistry
- Period of Apply: 2026/04/10-2026/12/31
- Term: 5–6 months (flexible depending on availability and performance)
- Fee: This program does not charge tuition fees. Selected participants will receive a monthly stipend (typically NTD 15,000) to help support their living expenses in Taiwan.
Participants are expected to cover their own airfare, accommodation, insurance, and personal expenses. Affordable university dormitory options may be available. In accordance with university regulations, some administrative or campus-related fees may apply.
The stipend is designed to partially offset the cost of living during the program. - Website of Program: sys.ndhu.edu.tw/RD/TeacherTreasury/tlist.aspx?tcher=13424
