SEARCH PROGRAMS

This program, supported by the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP), invites outstanding international undergraduate students to participate in a research internship at the Master’s Program in Smart Medicine and Health Informatics (Smart MHI), National Taiwan University. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in smart healthcare and biomedical informatics. Research topics include cancer molecular subtype analysis, tumor microenvironment, cancer genomics data analysis, and molecular targeted drug screening. Under the supervision of the research team, students will be involved in data processing, model development, and experimental design, while developing interdisciplinary research and problem-solving skills through regular discussions and presentations. The program also provides valuable exposure to Taiwan’s advanced medical technologies and encourages participants to pursue further studies or careers in Taiwan. This program is open to international undergraduate students who are interested in smart healthcare, data science, or biomedical informatics. Applicants are required to have a background in Electrical Engineering, Information Management, Computer Science, or related fields, or possess relevant knowledge in artificial intelligence and data analysis. Proficiency in English is required to effectively participate in research discussions and presentations. The program will be conducted from January to December 2026. Participants are expected to join for a period of 2 to 6 months. A total of two students will be selected. Participants are required to follow the arrangements of the research team, attend regular research activities, and complete progress reports to ensure effective learning outcomes.
