Our lab FEDESANY has kept doing industrial collaboration projects in recent years to design and develop lightweight structural components by using finite element analysis (FEA) technique, including: carbon-fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) wheel, magnesium alloy wheel, brake caliper, AI model to predict stress on new wheel subjected to bending loadcase, evaluation of mechanical properties suitable to ultra lightweight chassis components for automotive industry, heat transfer analysis of culture plate for medical use (collaboration with Charité Medical University of Berlin). In 2026-2027 session, we may have some other projects, including: evaluation of aerodynamic performance of wheel covers, design of delivery cabin for rotary-wing drone (collaboration with Hochschule Esslingen, Germany), simulation of delamination of CFRP structural components, construction of fatigue properties of magnesium alloy … etc. Actual projects may vary since some are in early discussion. Scholarships and accommodation: * The student will receive a monthly scholarship in minimum 15,000 NTD based on the availability of budget to help cover the living expenses. * During the program, we'll assist with finding the accommodation (in campus or out of campus) and provide the local medical insurance option for the student. Duration: Maximum 6 months. Participation requirements: • Final-year student in bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or diploma program, related to mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, composites, polymer technology • Language proficiency in English is adequate for effective communication and learning • Familiar with manufacturing of composites or lightweight alloy • Have basic knowledge of conducting finite-element analysis.
