Internship Overview: The interns will be involved with the ceramic additive manufacturing using thermally conductive, electrically insulative materials such as SiC, AIN, and h-BN. Apart from the thermally conductive materials, the interns can also opt to work in biomedical engineering using Zirconia and Alumina materials. The interns will also be getting a hands-on experience with metal additive manufacturing using SKD-61 alloy. Duration of the internship: 2 - 3 months. Deliverables: One review or research publication at the end of the internship. Educational Background: PhD in Mechanical/Materials Engineering (Preferred), MS in Mechanical/Materials Engineering Scholarship: 8000 - 12000 NTD per month, based on performance. Accommodation and travel: Selected students will be provided with a 'Visa Invitation Letter.' Students have to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. Traveling in Taipei is convenient with several bus and MRT facilities.
