This program offers an intensive 6-month research internship at Taipei Medical University (TMU), focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), eye-tracking, and clinical neuroscience. Participants will gain hands-on experience in collecting and analyzing high-resolution physiological data (e.g., eye movements, pupillometry, EEG, and autonomic signals), and applying AI-based approaches to investigate cognitive processes and clinical conditions, including psychiatric and neurological disorders. The program is specifically designed for "highly motivated" and research-driven students who are seriously interested in pursuing graduate studies in psychology, cognitive and clinical neuroscience at TMU. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong commitment to hands-on research, critical thinking, and independent learning. Preference will be given to candidates with prior research experience, programming skills (e.g., MATLAB or Python), or a clear intention to pursue graduate study. Through close mentorship and immersion in an active research environment, participants are expected to actively engage in ongoing projects, contribute to data collection and analysis, and develop independent research capabilities. Students who demonstrate strong performance, initiative, and research potential during the program will be strongly encouraged and supported to apply for graduate study at TMU. The minimum duration is 6 months, preferably from July 1 to December 31, 2026. Each participant will receive a monthly scholarship of NT$15,000–20,000 to support living expenses. Please note that accommodation is not provided, but assistance and guidance in finding housing near TMU will be offered. Participants will first undergo structured training, followed by supervised research projects involving real clinical datasets. Regular lab meetings, seminars, and workshops will support their academic development. By the end of the program, students are expected to present their research findings in a final symposium and prepare a research report or conference abstract.
