1. Objectives Through this internship support program, students will gain in-depth knowledge and practical application skills in environmental risk management, water reclamation, water resources management, ecosystem carbon sinks, and watershed management. The program aims to cultivate students' hands-on capabilities within the field of environmental engineering while establishing long-term collaborative partnerships with international universities. 2. Expected Benefits This program is expected to enhance students' competencies in environmental risk management and cultivate professionals equipped with specialized skills in water resources and watershed management. These efforts are designed to drive progress toward global environmental sustainability. 3. Partnering Universities and Departments The department has established partnerships with environmental science-related faculties at Vietnam National University (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), Jakarta State Polytechnic (Indonesia), Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), and Universiti Tunku Andre Rahman (Malaysia). Furthermore, collaborative relationships have been developed with local enterprises in these regions. 4. Implementation Method The project begins with an initial phase of theoretical training courses. During the internship, students will be assigned to laboratories to conduct research work. Through project-based learning (PBL) and hands-on practice, students will strengthen their technical application abilities. Additionally, the program will arrange for students to participate in domestic and international conferences and competitions held in Taiwan. This will enable them to share their research findings, broaden their professional horizons, and enhance their problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a real-world professional environment.
