Overview: This program focuses on research on Compute-In-Memory (CIM) chips. CIM chips can overcome the memory bottleneck in conventional architectures and are therefore becoming increasingly popular in t deep learning. SRAM-based CIM chips perform multiply–accumulate (MAC) operations directly within the memory array. This approach significantly reduces data movement and improves energy efficiency. Program: This program invites international students who are interested in SRAM-based CIM circuit design.
The program features the following.
1. Introductory training courses, including analog/digital IC design and EDA tools.
2. IC design and layout laboratory.
3. Industry visits.
Eligibility and Requirements:
1. Senior undergraduate or graduate students with a major in electrical engineering or a related field.
2. Proficiency in English or Chinese.
3. Commitment to completing at least a 2-month duration of the program.
Accommodation: Students will be provided with accommodation in the university dormitory.
Benefits for Participants:
1. Living subsidy of TWD 15,000 per month.
2. Unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SRAM-based CIM circuit design.
3. Immersive experience and learning of life in Taiwan.
