This program aims to apply Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithms (QAOAs) to address the scheduling problems in an automated container terminal. Relevant scheduling problems in ACTs include automated quay cranes (AQCs), automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and automated stacking cranes (ASCs). The QAOA is an emerging algorithm that can be employed to address the QC scheduling problem.
