The Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) at National Dong Hwa University is a short term internship and scholarship program for international students interested in natural and environmental sciences. Hosted by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies in Hualien, Taiwan, the program gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience through field studies, laboratory work, and environmental seminars while learning about carbon neutrality, circular economy, and sustainable agriculture. Participants can also receive training related to international carbon and environmental standards, including ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-2, ISO 14067, and the BS 8001 circular economy framework. Scholarship support is available for up to 3 months at NT$15,000 per month. Participants must cover administrative, training, housing, insurance, visa, airfare, meal, and personal expenses. The program is open to bachelor’s degree or master's degree holders and students currently enrolled in a master’s program from any country, except those already in Taiwan or those holding a Ph.D. Participants are expected to engage in laboratory research on working days throughout the program.
