Currently, our laboratory primarily focuses on the antioxidant capacity and pharmacological activities of Chinese herbal medicines, with particular emphasis on how different processing conditions influence their major constituents and pharmacological properties. Our research further involves the chemical isolation, purification, and natural product analysis of bioactive compounds. In addition, the laboratory has gradually incorporated GC-MS techniques to analyze the volatile compounds of Chinese herbal medicines, with the aim of investigating the relationships among aroma characteristics, sensory quality, and chemical composition, thereby providing an important basis for sensory analysis and functional evaluation. We are also planning to recruit Master’s and PhD students, particularly those with academic backgrounds in chemistry or chemical engineering. For TEEP interns, the available funding support is NTD 12,000 per month. All other expenses, including accommodation, living costs, transportation, and other personal expenses, must be covered by the intern. The internship duration is six months.
