Laboratory Background: This research program aims to advance photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) technologies to address the global challenges of energy sustainability and environmental protection. The project focuses on the development of innovative photoelectrocatalytic materials and systems capable of simultaneously degrading environmental pollutants and producing green hydrogen as a clean energy source. By integrating materials science, environmental engineering, and renewable energy technologies, this program seeks to establish sustainable solutions that combine pollution remediation with renewable energy generation while training interdisciplinary research talents. 1. A monthly allowance ranging from NT$15,000 to NT$20,000 will be provided to participants, depending on individual performance and the availability of project funding. Participants are generally responsible for their own travel expenses, while assistance with accommodation arrangements will be provided. 2. This allowance is intended to support basic living expenses and covers accommodation as well as mandatory institutional fees required for visiting student status at National Sun Yat-sen University. 3. The internship period is at least two months, with a typical duration of six months. 4. Applicants should have a background in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Energy Engineering, or a related field. They should possess basic laboratory skills, a strong interest in research, and sufficient English proficiency for communication in research activities and seminars. Participants are expected to attend regular group meetings, submit progress reports, comply with laboratory safety regulations, and research ethics, and commit to the program on a full-time basis during the participation period. 5. This program not only provides research training but also offers a pathway for outstanding students to pursue graduate degrees in Taiwan. We welcome ambitious and passionate students to join us and experience a rich academic and cultural journey together. Not applicable to: Those who have already obtained a doctoral degree or are currently studying or conducting research in Taiwan. 6. Students who plan to conduct internships on the National Sun Yat-sen University campus must apply for visiting student status at least one month in advance.
