Join an exciting interdisciplinary research program in precision metabolism and AI pathology at Taipei Medical University. This project explores liver and metabolic diseases through the integration of digital pathology, biomedical data analysis, and translational research, providing students with an opportunity to work at the interface of medicine, metabolism, and artificial intelligence. Participants will gain exposure to real research questions and ongoing projects in the laboratory, with opportunities to contribute to data-driven studies involving pathology images, biomedical datasets, and metabolism-related disease mechanisms. The program is designed to provide both technical training and research immersion, helping students build practical skills in analysis, interpretation, and scientific communication. Students will work closely with faculty mentors and the research team, participate in regular meetings, and experience the collaborative environment of an academic laboratory at TMU. The program is particularly suitable for students interested in biomedical research, AI applications in health science, liver disease, metabolic disorders, and precision medicine. Applicants from medicine, life sciences, nutrition, public health, bioinformatics, computer science, artificial intelligence, and related fields are encouraged to apply. This program is intended for motivated students who would like to deepen their research experience, prepare for future graduate study, and engage in meaningful international academic exchange. The tentative duration is up to 6 months. A stipend of up to NTD 12,000 per month may be provided, subject to the approved TEEP budget and TMU regulations.
