International Program on Marine Environmental Monitoring and Pollution Assessment (6 Months) This program invites international students to Taiwan for a 6-month hands-on training experience, integrating coursework, laboratory practice, and coastal field investigations. Participants will develop practical skills in marine environmental monitoring and pollution analysis, while gaining insights into Taiwan’s strengths in environmental technology and ocean research. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of NTD 15,000, and on-campus dormitory accommodation will be provided. Program Content • Marine pollution, water quality, and sediment monitoring • Heavy metals and organic pollutant analysis • Instrumental training (ICP-MS, GC-MS) • Coastal field sampling and environmental data analysis in Kaohsiung Eligibility • Bachelor’s degree holders or current Master’s students • Majors in Environmental Engineering/Science, Marine Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields • Priority will be given to applicants from Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines) Duration July – December 2026 (6 months) Program Goals To cultivate international talents with strong competencies in environmental monitoring, analytical techniques, and data interpretation, and to promote future academic and career development in Taiwan’s environmental and marine science sectors.
