Project Background and Rationale: The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into clinical medicine and nursing care has transformed healthcare delivery, particularly in areas such as clinical decision support, risk prediction, patient monitoring, and care quality improvement. Despite its growing adoption, the clinical effectiveness, interpretability, and ethical implications of AI-assisted healthcare interventions remain unevenly evaluated. This project is grounded in the framework of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) and aims to systematically assess AI applications in clinical decision-making and nursing care. By integrating systematic review, meta-analysis, and ethical inquiry, the program addresses the urgent need for high-quality evidence and responsible governance of AI in healthcare practice. 2. Project Objectives: The objectives of this TEEP program are to: (1) Cultivate international research talent with interdisciplinary competencies in AI, evidence-based clinical research, and healthcare ethics. (2) Strengthen scientific evidence regarding AI applications in clinical medicine and nursing care. (3) Examine ethical, legal, and social implications of AI-assisted clinical decision-making, including transparency, bias, accountability, and patient-centered care. (4) Promote international academic exchange and establish sustainable global research collaboration networks. 3. Research Focus and Scope Participants will engage in research activities aligned with one or both of the following themes: (1) Evidence-Based Research on AI in Clinical Medicine and Nursing Care  Including systematic review and meta-analysis of AI-assisted clinical decision support, nursing assessment, monitoring, and patient safety applications. (2) Ethical Inquiry of AI-Assisted Clinical Interventions  Focusing on ethical responsibility, fairness, explainability, and professional accountability in AI-supported healthcare. 4. Eligibility and Target Participants: This program welcomes applicants who meet one of the following criteria: (1) Currently enrolled in a doctoral program, or a Master’s program students (2) Or a senior undergraduate student degree in medicine, nursing, public health, biomedical sciences, health informatics, or related disciplines.
