Project Title: Agricultural Technology and Climate Adaptation Project Concept Abstract 1. Project Objectives and Expected Benefits This project focuses on the core theme of "Agricultural Technology and Climate Adaptation." It aims to cultivate young talents equipped with a sustainability-oriented mindset and practical operational capabilities. Furthermore, the program seeks to promote bilateral exchange and cooperation between Taiwan, the Philippines, and other Southeast Asian nations within the field of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA). The primary recruitment targets are high school students from the Philippines or Southeast Asia who are either enrolled in agriculture-related departments or possess a keen interest in modern agricultural innovation. By integrating theoretical instruction with hands-on practice, the project expects to enhance participants' professional competence in sustainable agriculture, technological application, and climate adaptation strategies. 2. Implementation Period From January 2026 to December 2026. 3. Program Components (1) Workshop Courses: Lectures covering climate change and agricultural adaptation, smart agriculture technologies, and sustainable production strategies. (2) Internship Program: Practical training at partner farms and research institutions focusing on sensor applications, IoT field monitoring, and AI-driven data analysis. (3) Local Fieldwork (Stationing): Students will conduct field observations and special topic research at community farms, integrating their learning with local sustainability case studies. 4. Project Budget The budget is allocated for 2 participants at a rate of NT$20,000 per month for a duration of 2 months. Primary expenditures include: Monthly student scholarships. Farm work-study stipends. Internship subsidies and related operational costs.
