Step into the future of sustainable finance with the Empirical Perspectives on Circular Economy and Green Finance: Studies from Emerging Asian Economies program—an immersive international research internship hosted by Fu Jen Catholic University. Set in the dynamic heart of Asia, this program invites ambitious students and young professionals to explore how sustainability, innovation, and finance intersect to shape the global economy. With Asia emerging as a powerful hub of financial growth and environmental transformation, participants will engage in meaningful, real-world research that addresses pressing global challenges while building a strong academic and professional foundation. Over a six-month internship (within the duration from April 1 to December 31, 2026), you will gain hands-on experience in empirical research, big data analytics, and financial modeling using tools such as STATA and SAS. You will work alongside international scholars, access premium databases, and develop advanced skills in data visualization, academic writing, and cross-cultural collaboration. The program focuses on high-impact topics, including the role of environmental investments in corporate governance, the efficiency of circular economy practices and green innovation, and the influence of ESG performance on business outcomes across Asian markets. Participants may also join English-taught courses in the International MBA (imMBA) program, enriching both their academic journey and global perspective. This opportunity is open to undergraduate and master’s students with backgrounds in finance, business, IT, management, or related fields, and strong English proficiency. Selected participants will receive a monthly stipend of up to NT$15,000, along with support for conference participation and academic publication. Free on-campus accommodation will also be provided. Participants should be aware that other potential costs—such as travel and personal living expenses is not covered. Details regarding the stipend will be finalized after the selection process, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted after June 15, 2026. By the end of the program, participants are expected to complete thesis projects, present their research at international conferences in Taiwan, and hopefully pursue publication in reputable journals. If you are ready to expand your horizons, contribute to impactful research, and become part of a vibrant international academic network, this program offers a gateway to your future in global finance and sustainability.
