Program Overview: This program aims to establish the SMART Program to attract outstanding international students to Taiwan for research training in sarcopenia, frailty, mobility impairment, and falls. The program integrates interdisciplinary research, clinical observation, and data analysis, with individualized mentorship from faculty members to support participants in developing research proposals or drafting academic manuscripts. Through this initiative, we seek to enhance Taiwan’s international visibility in healthy aging and long-term care research, while cultivating young researchers with competencies in evidence-based research and international collaboration. Eligibility: Applicants from healthcare, public health, or related disciplines are preferred. Candidates should be Master’s or doctoral students, or individuals holding a Master’s degree. Program Details: Recruitment Countries: Open to all countries Duration: 2–6 months (flexible, no fixed start or end date) Format: One-on-one research supervision combined with course participation Financial Support: A monthly stipend of NTD 20,000 will be provided to support living expenses in Taiwan. There is no program fee; however, participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
