The program is aiming to study the pollination behavior of the pollinating wasps of Ficus septica. The intern will need to set up insect traps and manipulate the figs of the selected trees in order to understand how the pollinating wasps are choosing which figs to pollinate. The program is mostly made of field work and some time to be spent identify insect using a microscope. Therefore, educational background in ecology is required for this internship as well as a being fluent in English. The expected duration is three months from september to November with a monthly stipend of 15000NT$.
