TEEP Internship Recruitment: Sustainable Nanotechnology Project Title: Carbon nanodots derived from coffee bean biomass as eco-friendly fertilizers Project Overview Our research integrates Analytical Chemistry and Nanomaterials to develop innovative solutions for medicine and food safety. We are seeking two motivated interns to join our team for a project focused on the synthesis and application of biomass-derived carbon nanodots. Internship Period Duration: 6 months (July 1st – December 31, 2026) Key Responsibilities Bench-Top Experimentation: Design and synthesize reagents, fabricate nanomaterials, and perform routine spectroscopic characterization (e.g., UV-Vis, fluorimetry, Raman, and Flow Cytometry). Data Analysis: Process experimental data to evaluate and validate the sensitivity, accuracy, and performance of the developed methods. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain systematic lab records and present research progress during weekly group meetings. Academic Publication: Collaborate with the research team to draft and revise high-quality manuscripts for submission to international peer-reviewed journals. Eligibility Applicants must provide proof of current enrollment as a Master’s student or Ph.D. candidate for the entire duration of the internship.
