The Tseng Lab at National Taiwan University studies urban and invasive insects using approaches from ecology, behavior, genetics, and evolutionary biology, with a focus on ants. Participants will gain hands-on experience in both field and laboratory work, including ant sampling, biodiversity surveys, behavioral observations, and basic data analysis. The program is suitable for students in entomology, ecology, evolutionary biology, or related fields. A minimum stay of two months is required, and basic English communication skills are expected. Taiwan provides an excellent setting for studying invasive species and urban ecosystems, offering valuable international research experience.
