This project focuses on the design and electrical characterization of 4H-SiC power devices. The goal is to train research-oriented students with knowledge in semiconductor fabrication and electrical analysis. Silicon carbide (SiC) power devices, due to their high breakdown voltage, excellent thermal conductivity, and low on-resistance, are widely used in electric vehicles, photovoltaic inverters, and high-power electronic systems. Students will be recruited for at least a three-month research program. Through interdisciplinary research and hands-on training, students will gain both theoretical understanding and practical experience in power semiconductor device development.
