This program focuses on building privacy-preserving, high-fidelity 3D avatars using 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) for immersive VR interactions. We welcome international students with backgrounds in VR multimedia, network systems, or data analysis (excluding current Ph.D. holders or those already studying in Taiwan). The internship lasts for 3 to 6 months, starting from May 2026. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of 15,000 to 20,000 NTD. There is no registration fee, and on-campus dormitories at NTHU are highly affordable (approximately 2,262 - 2,800 NTD per month, subject to availability).
