Holographic display can achieve realistic effect of 3D display and thus has attracted a lot of attention in the last decade. In this project , we focus on the development of novel technique of computer-generated hologram (CGH) for 3D display. (1) A graduate (PhD or Master) student is preferred; an undergraduate student having sufficient optical knowledge is accepted. (2) Language: Mandarin or English (3) Minimum background of optics (undergraduate level), optically experimental experience, or coding skill is expected. (4) The project is for the development of new CGH algorithm and display setup. (5) Project detail: MATLAB/Python programing for CGH generation; setup of optical system for holographic display; use of spatial light modulator (SLM), including its characteristics measurement (6) Allowance: each intern will receive NTD 20,000 per month in the three-month project period.
