This internship focuses on AI-driven robotics and real-time anomaly detection in intelligent environments. The intern will participate in research projects related to autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), edge AI systems, and intelligent surveillance applications. The main research topics include: • Video anomaly detection for robotic patrol systems • Real-time perception and scene understanding for autonomous robots • Lightweight deep learning models for edge deployment • Vision-based abnormal event detection in dynamic environments • Integration of AI algorithms with robotic platforms (ROS-based systems) Students are expected to work with fellow students here at CIR Lab under the guidance from a mentor. The students are expected to produce solid research results and write a report before the end of the internship. After the internship, those with excellent research capabilities can receive financial support to pursue their postgraduate studies at NTNU.
