Topic: Dynamic grid lattice models are widely used to represent various dynamic systems, such as chemical reactions, spatial epidemic spread, and social network communication. In these models, the steady state of the system often exhibits bifurcation phenomena or phase transitions. We will focus on discontinuous (or first-order) phase transitions, using Schloegl's second model to characterize the stable states within the bistable coexistence region. During the internship, students will explore hierarchical equations consisting of coupled structures, deconstruct and analyze these equations under specific conditions. Additionally, students are required to participate in activities offered by the College of Science or Engineering.
