This program is led by the Department of Information Applications under the College of Applied Technology and Design at Fo Guang University. It aims to recruit five international students and focuses on cross-disciplinary practice and local industry engagement in alignment with Taiwan’s Six Core Strategic Industries (Information and Digital Technologies) and Five Trusted Industries (Artificial Intelligence). The program is scheduled to take place during the summer and will consist of an 8-week training and on-site practicum. The curriculum includes: 1.Introduction to AI and Smart Applications 2.Digital Culture and Interactive Design (Unity / VR / AR Applications) 3.Capstone Project: Integrating local field sites such as the Yilan shallow mountain recreational agriculture areas or tea industry, participants will develop applications such as local tour guide systems, AI-based interactive guide apps, or smart agriculture solutions.
