Program Overview This internship program offers international students a valuable opportunity to engage in research on semiconductor materials, with a focus on their optical and temperature-dependent properties. Participants will gain hands-on experience in both experimental and theoretical approaches, developing essential research skills in physics, materials science, and optoelectronics. Through close interaction with faculty members and graduate students, students will also experience Taiwan’s dynamic academic and research environment. Program Information • Scholarship: A monthly stipend of NTD 15,000–20,000 will be provided, depending on performance and funding availability. • Accommodation: On-campus dormitory will be arranged for participants. Dormitory fees are to be covered by the students. • Duration: The internship duration is at least 2 months, with flexible scheduling (typically between June and September). Participation Requirements Applicants should meet the following criteria: • Have a background in physics, materials science, or related fields • Be able to communicate effectively in English • Show strong interest in semiconductor research and optoelectronics • Be willing to actively participate in research activities, group meetings, and discussions • May be required to attend an online interview prior to acceptance Additional Information This program not only provides research training but also serves as a pathway for outstanding students to pursue graduate studies in Taiwan.
