The major motive of our research is to develop electrochemical biosensors using laser-induced graphene (LIG). Compared with the other wet-chemistry-based 3D graphene, the porous LIG derived from the CO2 irradiation polyimide substrate offers excellent electrical conductivity, large specific surface area, high thermal stability, and a facile electron transfer process, which makes LIG a promising candidate for the electrochemical biosensors. Recently, the LIG has been widely used to detect enzymatic compounds, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)/ribonucleic acid (RNA), and for immunosensing.
