This TEEP internship is hosted by the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). The project focuses on 5G/6G telecommunication cloud platform technologies and open-source implementation, and will further evolve toward 6G AI-Native Networking as a key milestone in 2026. The program is designed to attract outstanding international students (priority partner/source countries include Vietnam, Indonesia, and Morocco) to join a hands-on research-and-development internship at NTUST. Schedule / duration:Participation is recommended to be 2–6 months, with a typical structured training-and-research cycle of 4 months**. After admission, interns will attend an onboarding/orientation session and then follow a milestone-based internship rhythm (weekly progress reporting, midterm review, and final review). The internship training spans two main tracks: (1) 5G/6G telecom cloud platform transmission technologies and (2) 5G/6G telecom cloud platform service applications, including practical work using open-source platforms and project-based experimentation. Scholarships / costs / accommodation: The program does not charge a registration fee and the project budget is arranged to support interns’ basic living expenses during the internship period. Accommodation is typically arranged by participants (self-arranged), and other personal expenses (e.g., travel, visa/residence procedures, insurance) are generally borne by participants unless otherwise notified. Participation requirements (expected): Education background: international students with at least a post-secondary (high school graduate and above) background; recommended majors include **EE/ECE, CS, Telecommunications, Networking, or related fields. (PhD degree holders and those already in Taiwan for industry internship/research are generally not targeted.) Ability: strong motivation for hands-on engineering, ability to read technical materials and conduct weekly reporting/meetings (working English communication is expected for collaboration).
