This program is designed for individuals seeking to acquire a comprehensive and practical understanding of how to design and construct a fully functional, self-contained unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the ground up. The curriculum systematically covers UAV mechanical design, automation and flight control, microcontroller systems, remote sensing technologies, electronics and communication protocols, system integration methodologies, and manufacturing techniques. In addition, the program emphasizes application-oriented UAV customization, enabling participants to develop purpose-built UAV systems tailored to specific professional, research, or industrial requirements. While smart agriculture and air-pollution sampling are used as core demonstration cases throughout the program, the design principles, prototyping strategies, and engineering methodologies introduced are broadly applicable and not limited to these domains.
