Traditional herbal medicine plays a crucial role in preventing and treating various diseases. Natural products and their derivatives, which target specific receptors and signaling pathways, continue to be valuable resources in pharmacology and modern drug discovery. Our research combines pharmacological and phytomedicine approaches to explore the molecular mechanisms of inflammatory responses and identify new drug targets that regulate immune cells. By studying how natural compounds regulate neutrophils and macrophages, we aim to develop innovative treatments for inflammatory diseases and immune disorders, including acute respiratory distress syndrome, psoriasis, diabetes, liver inflammation, and arthritis. Using bioactivity-guided isolation and identification, our team is dedicated to discovering new bioactive natural compounds that modulate inflammation and restore immune balance. We warmly invite international students to join our laboratory for a 3–6-month short-term research training program, gaining hands-on experience in natural product pharmacology and molecular medicine. Together, we combine traditional wisdom with modern science to develop future therapies that enhance human health. We provide international students with on-campus accommodation and a monthly scholarship of NT$15,000.
