Joining the TEEP program in our laboratory will provide you with hands-on experience in a range of essential techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and cancer biology. You will acquire practical skills in areas such as molecular cloning and gene transfer, as well as both in vitro (controlled laboratory environment) and in vivo (within living organisms) techniques related to cancer research. Additionally, we will guide you through methods to understand cellular transformation, phenotypic changes, and apoptosis (the process of programmed cell death). These tools and techniques are crucial not only for advancing your research projects but also for their value across multiple fields, including cancer biology, cellular and molecular biology, pharmacology, and immunology. Along with these practical skills, you will receive training in scientific reasoning and presentation skills, equipping you for success in both research and communication.
