TEEP Host Lab Opportunity-Particle Dispersion and Energy-Storage Materials Lab (Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Tsing Hua University) Faculty Advisor: Prof. Chia-Chen Li Lab Overview: The Particle Dispersion and Energy-Storage Materials Lab focuses on the development of solid-state lithium batteries and advanced ceramic materials. Our research spans fundamental studies and practical applications related to lithium battery systems and particle dispersion technologies relevant to energy and semiconductor industries. Available Research Topics: - Fabrication and performance optimization of solid-state lithium batteries - Development and characterization of lithium-ion battery materials - Particle dispersion and rheology for semiconductor-related applications Preferred Student Background We welcome applications from undergraduate (junior/senior) and graduate-level students with the following backgrounds: - Majors: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields - Skills: Prior laboratory experience and strong English communication skills are highly recommended Internship/Exchange Period We accept TEEP students for both: - Summer term - Regular semester (September–December or February–June) Exact durations can be adjusted based on mutual availability and project needs. Accommodation & Stipend Campus housing assistance is available. Students may also be eligible for the TEEP stipend of up to NT$15,000 per month, as supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (subject to availability and approval).
