This program is designed to give students a clear picture of how precision breeding is being developed in Taiwan, especially in the context of modern agriculture. From July to the end of December 2025, students from India, Thailand, and Indonesia will come to Taiwan to join a training program at National Chung Hsing University. They’ll take part in summer courses and also get hands-on experience in greenhouses and labs, learning core techniques like GWAS and gene editing. They'll also visit the Chiayi branch of the Agricultural Research Institute and seed companies to see how Taiwan is applying these technologies in real-world settings.
