The TEEP interns will employ CSCs as a research model for the investigation of three major research directions: 1) cell therapy, 2) transcription factor inhibitor small molecular drugs, and 3) nanomedicine, since CSCs persist as a distinct subset of tumor cells endowed with self-renewal capacity and are refractory to therapy. The applicants are limited to students that plan to enroll TMU PhD program and hold a master's degree. The internship will last 2–6 months, and the scholarship will follow the rules of the TEEP program.
