1) Duration of the Internship: 4-5 months, basically (dependent upon the student's availability and capability, minimum 3 and maximum 6 months). 

2) Monthly Stipend: NTD 12,000 (~ USD 380)

3) Research topics: 

A) Sport Science, especially for Intelligence Training System for Specific Groups:

a) Description: 
The study aims at designing personalized exercise training and data monitoring systems for specific groups, such as the elderly and people with disabilities, etc. The interns should be interested in and be able to handle some of the following techniques.

* wearable devices
* biomedical signal processing
* PPG, IMU, deep camera
* posture/gate analysis
* fatigue evaluation of sport
* embedded system
* edge computing
* image processing

b) Preferred Intern Educational Level:

i) Master's graduate students are preferred and first considered, next are doctoral graduates, and then the senior undergraduates. Be noted that junior undergraduates and younger individuals won’t be considered.

ii) Major in mechatronics, electrical, and mechanical Engg.
B) Optical information measurement for diffuse optical imaging:

a) Description: The recruitment of this intern requires a candidate with extensive hands-on experience in measurement techniques and experimental troubleshooting, especially for optical information measurement using light sources, optical fibers/liquid light guides, and detectors.

b) Preferred Intern Educational Level: 

 i) Master's graduate students are preferred and first considered, next are doctoral graduates, and then the senior undergraduates. Be noted that junior undergraduates and younger individuals won’t be considered.
ii) Major in optical Engg, biomedical Engg (medical Engg), or electrical Engg.
