This project aims to advance natural product drug development through high-throughput screening and molecular networking techniques, focusing on discovering novel therapeutic compounds and elucidating their mechanisms of action, particularly targeting metabolic diseases, oxidative regulation, and anti-inflammatory related conditions. The goal is to enhance drug development efficiency and expand the applications of natural product-based therapeutics. The project primarily recruits trainees from Europe, the United States, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The minimum stay is two months, and participants must complete their training within the project period. The program will include workshops and hands-on training on cell experiments and mass spectrometry analysis, enabling trainees to actively participate in applied research involving high-throughput screening and molecular networking. Training will cover cell testing, mass spectrometry data analysis, active compound identification, and the integration of bioinformatics techniques to explore the bioactivity and therapeutic potential of natural products. During their stay in Taiwan, trainees will receive a monthly scholarship of NT$10,000 to NT$15,000. However, all other expenses, including but not limited to airfare and living costs, will be borne by the trainees themselves.
