Fractures can affect mechanic and hydraulic properties of rock mass. When fractures are further manipulated by coupling processes of fluid-rock stress, analysis of fracture reactivation tendencies is the way to recognize that fractures are served as fluid conducts or barriers. Reactivation tendency is essential work for the site characterization of the development, storage and disposal of earth resources and/or waste.
The aim of this project is to learn the principles and methodologies of fracture reactivation tendency and its applications. This project will provide the scholarship NTD 12-15K/mo for 2-3months and attendee(s) need to handle his/her own fees of travel to Taipei and back, Taipei accommodation, and daily expense.
This project is welcomed who has the following aspects to join:
1. Geoscience background of undergraduate level at least
2. English speaking and writing at least
3. Matlab programming skill
4. Stay 2-3 months in Taipei, better in the summer time
