This internship position focuses on basic research and translational medicine, especially cutting-edge therapeutic strategies for cancer prevention and treatment. The training program is structured around four main modules: Cancer Research Experimental Design, New Drug R&D, Precision Medicine, and Bioinformatics, helping students build a strong foundation in independent thinking and judgment, innovation and problem-solving, and the technical skills required for biomedical research. We welcome applicants from diverse academic backgrounds, including those with expertise or interest in AI, data science, engineering, as well as cancer biology, cell-based experiments, and animal studies. Whether your strengths lie in computational analysis or wet lab research, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment. Our lab offers excellent research support and mentoring, with access to cutting-edge resources and an international research community. Outstanding participants may be recommended for fully-funded scholarships to pursue the Master’s or Ph.D. program in Cancer Biology and Drug Development at Taipei Medical University (TMU).
