The objective of this project is to establish a framework for assessing different strategies for carbon capture and utilization (CCU) utilizing simulation technologies. Participants in this project will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the following areas:
- The application of process simulation technologies in the field of CCU.
- Techno-economic evaluation related to CCU processes.
- Life cycle assessment related to CCU processes.
- Integration and optimization of pathways for cycling carbon.
- Other technologies releveant to circular economy, such as biomass valorization, waste management, and others.
- Application of machine learning technologies in the field of CCU.
- Paritipation in journal publication.

We invite applications from undergraduate and graduate candidates with academic backgrounds pertinent to chemical, energy, materials, and environmental engineering. Expertise in other engineering disciplines may also be taken into account. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate proficiency in English, and who plan to pursue academic degree in Taiwan in the future. Eligible participants should be available to engage in the project for a duration of two months or more. Each participant will receive a monthly stipend of 12,000 - 15,000 NTD, along with additional financial assistance for accommodation in the NTU dormitory. Upon request, we can also facilitate applications for NTU dormitory housing for the participants.

[Note: Participants may be required to cover the administration fee associated with their stay at NTU, which will vary based on the length of their intern period.]
