The Research Center for Precision Environmental Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University focuses on "emerging food safety issues" and "local environmental issues" and combines cross-disciplinary experts and scholars in clinical medicine, analytical chemistry, bioinformatics, epidemiological statistics, environmental exposure assessment, and risk assessment to establish a number of core analysis platforms to support each other and verify research hypotheses. With a number of high-end analytical instruments, we can independently engage in food safety and environmental medicine related issues. I am a member of the center. In order to continuously enhance research capabilities, I actively establish good interactions with domestic and foreign academic institutions. Not only do I have substantial cooperation plans, I have also invited well-known foreign scholars to give lectures in Taiwan many times. Through academic diplomacy, I have raised my international reputation and gradually connected with the international community. In addition to academic research, in order to make the center's teaching more international, the center hopes to use the funding from the Ministry of Education's TEEP@AsiaPlus program to recruit graduate students from New Southbound countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Indonesia and Thailand who are interested in the center's research topics to conduct short-term academic training or special internships for a period of 6 months (currently actively attracting students from all over the world).
