This program offers an exceptional opportunity for master’s or Ph.D. students with a background in biological sciences. It is conducted in collaboration with TARK Biopharma, a biotechnology company dedicated to the early-stage development of innovative small-molecule drugs to address unmet medical needs. The internship is structured into two phases. In the first phase, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the drug development process, covering all steps from target identification to preclinical testing. The second phase will emphasize hands-on laboratory experience, where students will participate in drug efficacy validation, refine their skills in various cell-based experimental techniques, and conduct comprehensive assessments of drug efficacy and safety using different models. Throughout the program, participants will engage in industry-driven research projects, gaining hands-on experience while expanding their professional network. To support their research, the program provides a scholarship of up to NT$20,000 per month. Participating students are required to complete a 3~4 month training program. Students will be responsible for their own accommodation and living expenses.
