The "Carbon Dioxide and Water Conversion Technologies: Taiwan Experience Program for a Sustainable Future" is a fully funded research and training program under the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP). This program provides international students with the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research on carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) conversion and water splitting for clean energy production. Participants will work with world-class researchers and industry experts in Taiwan to develop advanced catalytic materials, optimize electrochemical processes, and explore industrial applications for carbon mitigation and hydrogen generation.

Scholarships & Costs:
• Full financial support, covering accommodation, research expenses, and a monthly stipend of NT$15,000.
• No tuition or participation fees—all research and training costs are covered by the program.

Accommodation Arrangements:
• On-campus dormitory or off-campus housing will be provided for the entire duration of the program.
• Participants will have access to university facilities, including research labs, libraries, and dining halls.

Program Schedule & Duration: Minimum duration: 2 months (April 2025 – December 2025) and maximum 6 months

Participation Requirements:
Educational Background: Applicants must be undergraduate, master’s, or PhD students in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related machine learning (AI) fields.

Language Proficiency: English proficiency is recommended but not mandatory. Courses and research activities will be conducted in English.

Research Interest: Applicants should have a strong interest in sustainable energy, catalysis, electrochemical processes, and CO₂ conversion technologies.

Additional Considerations:
• Participants are expected to engage in collaborative research and present their findings at the end of the program.
• The program encourages international collaboration, fostering future research partnerships between Taiwan and the participants’ home countries.
• This high-impact, hands-on program aims to equip students with the expertise and practical skills needed to tackle global environmental challenges through CO₂ utilization and renewable hydrogen production.
