The Ministry of Education in Taiwan launched the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP), offering global students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to participate in short-term professional internship projects organized by Taiwanese universities and colleges. Dyslipidemia and diabetes are major contributors to the prevalence of non-communicable diseases. Emerging research underscores the significant role of lipid and lipoprotein abnormalities in the onset of cancer, cognitive decline, and autoimmune disorders. With the global rise in obesity and metabolic syndrome, it is essential to launch a strategic campaign to address dysregulated lipid levels and glucose intolerance. As part of this program, participating students will engage in professional classes and receive training in lipid analysis technologies, such as UPLC and mass spectrometry. Most importantly, Taiwan is renowned for its safety and hospitality, ensuring that all participating students will have a rewarding cultural experience during their stay. To be eligible for the program, applicants must be undergraduate, master's, or PhD students, except those who are already participating in other study programs in Taiwan. Students must commit to a minimum stay of two months. The TEEP program will provide a stipend of 12, 000 to 15,000 TWD per person per month to cover living expenses.
