1. VCM Lab Introduction: Our lab’s research focuses on applying computational and mathematical modeling to behavioral studies, particularly in visual cognitive domains such as attention, memory, and decision-making. Beyond traditional psychological studies, we prioritize contemporary topics like psychological resilience, deepfake detection, and the cognitive benefits of immersive experiences. Additionally, we conduct research aimed at enhancing mental health and well-being through exercise-related interventions. To optimize research outcomes, we employ multiple modalities, including neuromodulation, EEG/ERP, biofeedback, eye-tracking, and virtual reality.

2. Internship Overview: Our laboratory offers a broad range of research equipment and supports both traditional and contemporary research areas. Our team is multidisciplinary, with members experienced in psychology, mathematics, health sciences, and technology, working together to produce high-impact research. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to acquire diverse research skills, such as programming experiments in MATLAB or software like E-Prime and PsychoPy, conducting experiments with cutting-edge equipment (e.g., EEG/ERP and neuromodulation), developing VR experiments in Unity, and using R for computational and mathematical modeling. We warmly welcome international students, with English as the primary language of communication.

3. Scholarship/Grants: Intern students will receive a monthly scholarship of TWD 20,000 (around 604 USD/month) to help cover their living expenses. Intern students will need to commit to the program for at least two months.
