This program aims to develop porous materials such as metal-organic frameworks (MOF) and metal-organic cages (MOC) for various functional applications such as drug delivery and pollutant adsorption. MOFs and MOCs are highly versatile materials. This program exposes students to the MOF/MOC research field, especially for drug delivery and adsorption applications, which is at the intersection of chemistry and pharmacy.

This short-term program (3 months) also aims to give students a practical learning experience in basic research concept and techniques in the synthesis and characterization of porous materials. This way, it may encourage students to pursue further studies in Taiwan.
