Designed to provide a comprehensive foundation, the curriculum covers key areas such as aquatic science and technology, feed development, aquatic nutritional physiology, and sustainable aquaculture practices. Students in this program will gain practical skills in aquafeed formulation and learn how to evaluate its efficiency in promoting the growth and health of aquatic animals. Additionally, our state-of-the-art lab offers specialized training in breeding techniques for various aquaculture species, including white shrimp, marine ornamental fish, and other commercially valuable species. With diverse opportunities to explore and innovate, this program equips students with the expertise needed for a successful career in aquaculture. Our aquaculture practice field, nestled beside the serene Jingsi Lake, offers an inspiring learning environment surrounded by breathtaking mountains and rivers. This peaceful yet dynamic setting is fully equipped for hands-on training in reproduction and seedling rearing for a variety of species, including giant freshwater prawns, white shrimp, ornamental fish, and ornamental shrimp. We believe in bridging theory with real-world application, adapting to local conditions for a more immersive learning experience. Students have the opportunity to visit aquaculture farms across Taiwan, gaining firsthand exposure to diverse management techniques used by industry professionals. Beyond technical skills, our program emphasizes research and collaboration.
