Our laboratory focuses on developing optical instruments and has successfully completed a hyperspectral imaging system and an automatic detection system for solar module electroluminescence images using deep learning. We are now developing a new system integrating user interface design, laser source PWM control, rotation mirror control, and platform control to enhance the precision and stability of the laser annealing process.

Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST), located in Tainan City, Taiwan, is a leading international university offering a well-rounded education in humanities and technology. With four colleges, 25 departments, 32 master's programs, and four doctoral programs, STUST serves over 12,000 students, including 600 international students from 34 countries.

The university provides scholarships for students with strong academic performance who do not receive financial aid from Taiwan or their home country. Master’s and doctoral students are eligible for tuition fee exemptions, and outstanding doctoral students receive a NT$10,000 monthly living allowance. We seek candidates proficient in C#/C++, Python, or related control programming languages. Experience in PWM control, laser processing, and mechatronics integration is essential, along with a strong understanding of polygonal scanners and motion control.
